Uploading listings into our Taktas cloud system is one of the most routine parts of my week price, location, size, photos, one property after another. But there's one field I never fill in on autopilot: whether a property is certified as long-life quality housing.
One of Yatsuka's posts this week made a point that lines up exactly with why I'm careful here that certification is confirmed property by property, not assumed across an entire development just because it shares a name or a design. So when I'm entering listing data and I see a similar property already marked as certified, I don't copy that status over to the next one. I check what's actually documented for that specific listing first.
It sounds like a small thing in a system full of fields to fill in, but getting it wrong isn't small. If a listing says a property is certified when it isn't or leaves it blank when it actually is that's information a client might factor into a real decision. So the same habit I use everywhere else applies here too: if I'm not certain, I hold off and confirm, rather than fill the field in based on what seems likely.
It's not the most exciting part of my job, but it's one of the parts I take the most seriously, precisely because nobody sees it happen. Nobody watches me pause on a field and go check. They just see a listing that's accurate or, if I got it wrong, one that isn't.
